FeekerTalk (hereinafter referred to as "we") understands the importance of personal information to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the FeekerTalk Voice Bridge real-time voice translation service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service. By registering for or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have fully understood and agree to all terms described in this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any provision of this Privacy Policy, please immediately stop using the Service.

Article 1: Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Actively Provide

Account Information：Email address, display name, password (encrypted storage) — used to create and manage your account
Referral Code：Referral code from another user (if provided) — to implement the referral reward mechanism
Payment Information：Order amount, purchased duration — to process your purchase (full card numbers are handled by Stripe; we do not store them)
Feedback Information：Name, email, subject, feedback content — to collect user feedback and improve the Service

1.2 Information Automatically Generated During Service Use

Call Records：Call time, duration, participants, languages used, engine type
Translated Text：Original and translated text from calls (retained for 90 days)
Usage Data：Monthly usage in seconds
IP Address：Approximate geographic location (used only for region-based pricing display)

1.3 Information Processed by Third-Party APIs (Core Risk Disclosure)

This is the most critical data processing aspect of the Service. Please ensure you understand the following:

When you use the Service for real-time voice translation, your raw audio stream is sent via an encrypted WebSocket connection directly to the following third-party AI service providers for speech recognition and translation processing:

Volcano Engine Speech Intelligence (ByteDance)：Raw audio stream → Speech recognition → Translation; servers located in China
Alibaba Cloud Tongyi Qianwen Speech Intelligence：Raw audio stream → Speech recognition → Translation (backup engine); servers located in China

During the above processing:

Your raw audio stream is not stored on our servers
Third parties only temporarily cache audio data during processing and delete it immediately after processing is complete
The translated text results are transmitted back to our servers and stored for 90 days

Article 2: Special Notice on Sensitive Personal Information

Under the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (PIPL) and other applicable laws and regulations, voice data constitutes sensitive personal information (and also constitutes "special category data" under Article 9 of the EU GDPR).

What We Do Not Do

❌ Use your voice data to identify you
❌ Store your raw audio files
❌ Use your voice data for any purpose other than translation
❌ Provide your voice data to any third party other than Volcano/Qwen

Article 3: Cross-Border Data Transfer

Because the Service relies on third-party AI engines located in China to provide core translation capabilities, your voice data and call content will be transmitted to servers in China for processing. All transmission is encrypted using TLS/WSS.

Article 4: Data Storage and Retention

Account Information：Duration of account existence + 30 days after account deletion
Call Translation Text：90 days (automatically purged)
Raw Audio Stream：0 days (not stored)
Payment Records：Statutory retention period (typically 5-7 years)

Article 5: Your Rights

Under applicable laws (including but not limited to PIPL and GDPR), you have the right of access, right of rectification, right of erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to withdraw consent, right to delete your account, and right to lodge a complaint.
